The German tuning house ABT Sportsline has recently launched a modification program, this time targeting the new Vee Dub Beetle powered by the 2.0 TDI engine. Dad of the year goes to this guy

9th August 2012 | BY NSNP

At three years old Evan took delivery of his Lightning McQueen Power Wheels, by the time he was 5 he was in serious need of an upgrade after wearing through the plastic wheels. So he and his dad fitted metal rims with rubber tires, an aluminum back half chassis, dual sealed gel batteries with an output of 24 volts, a 500 watt .66 horsepower electric motor, disk brake, throttle modulated variable speed control with reverse and sparco battery cut off switch.

Best dad ever.

BMW M550D vs. BMW Z4M Coupe

3rd August 2012 | BY NSNP

Here’s a perfectly fair and legitimate comparison between the BMW M550D F10 and a BMW Z4M Coupe on a wet mountain pass…

At 2040kg the M550D is a big old hunk of metal to be making it’s way up a slippery mountain pass chasing the (anorexic by comparison) 1495kg Z4M Coupe. Add to that the fact that the Z4M is sporting the same 3.2l engine from the M3 CSL - a thoroughbred of an engine by all accounts - and you’d think this race was a dead cert in favour of the sports car. Low and Loud Avant

31st July 2012 | BY NSNP

Slammed. Stanced. Decked. Low. As many words as you can try to think up, nothing quite comes close to describing just how near the tarmac is from the bottom this awesome floor hugging A6 Avant. At 22 years old and a professional skid pan driving instructor, Gio has taken a simple approach to modifying his car and started with two classic moves. Wheels and a drop.

Mercedes SLS AMG Diesel?

18th July 2012 | BY NSNP

When an email dropped in to our inbox this morning suggesting we may see a Mercedes SLS diesel by the end of the year, everything was stopped to investigate.
