My new pug 206 1.6 hdi has the ABS light, ESP light, airbag light and engine mgt light all come up within 5 hours - Could this be a ecu fault!

Its always best to get the fault codes read. This should tell you what the problem is.

I have a 206 HDI 1.6 and it regularly throws up codes and brings the EML on. Mines heavlily affected by the cold weather. No issues in the summer, but now its colder its happening every other day. By a fault code reader.

a fault code reader wil only read the engine management faults, and then only those that affect the exhaust gasses... it won't do anything for thabs, esp or airbag ecu. Coincidentally, the ABS/ESP ecu is the first to shut down if the voltage from the battery or alternator gets too low. could very well be a ground issue though

I bought mine off ebay for around 15. It checks the codes and turns off EML. As above dosnt however turn off airbag lights. If when the lights appear switch off the engine and restart. It works with mine sometimes
