    Uprated clutch required

    Hi all,

I'm after an uprated clutch for my 1.5dci 100. As of yet the only two companies I can find which make one for this engine are Black Diamond and a company called DriveTorque, which are only made available through Larkspeed.

Has anyone had experience of a clutch from either of these manufacturers?

    Cheers,

Yes I see that they do one, but it is for the 80hp version of the 1.5. Mine is tuned to 120hp so this exceeds what that clutch is quoted to handle.

They can make anything you want. Ask for Mick at CG, say I sent you (James Pickering) and he will hook you up.

Okay, so CG do a stage 3 paddle clutch kit for mine which will take the extra load. Does anyone have a paddle clutch fitted and can tell me what they are like to drive on the road?

I'm guessing there are noticeable differences between this kit and an OE clutch? Do they judder more? etc etc...

Cool Click here to enlarge Guess I'll order that one then, thanks pal!

Oh, one more question... Should I be changing the DMF whilst I'm in there or not? It has covered approx 49K.

The car makes a weird sort of shudder between about 1500-1800 rpm (not sure what this is), but there are no strange noises coming from the engine bay. Just looking for opinions Click here to enlarge
